Delivery Manager - Water Consultancy
RPS has an exciting opportunity for a Delivery Manager to join our Water Consulting business. This role involves delivering and building upon our existing frameworks and relationships with utility companies across Scotland.
About The Team:
RPS Water Consulting is a team of Engineers, Modellers, and Data Analysts providing Asset Management and Operational Strategy development to our Water Industry clients. We focus on innovation, dedication, and teamwork to meet our clients’ needs.
Our Water Consultancy business manages prestigious AMP8 programmes leading into AMP9 and beyond, offering long-term career stability.
About You:
Your role as Delivery Manager is crucial to delivering projects for our Water Industry clients. You will work with a multidisciplinary team on capital delivery projects and support the growth within the Trunk Main Conditioning (TMC) Team.
Joining us means working on impactful projects, collaborating with industry leaders, and making a positive difference in communities. You will work with major water companies, ensuring a lasting impact.
Your Responsibilities:
* Manage the TMC delivery programme within our Water Consultancy business.
* Provide excellent customer service to external and internal clients.
* Oversee health, safety, and well-being of field teams.
* Uphold safety, ethics, integrity, and environmental standards, representing RPS professionally.
* Manage field staff operations, with growth aligned to our expansion plans.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
* Knowledge of Clean Water Networks, hydraulics, and asset types.
* High-voltage highway work experience with NRSWA Signing Lighting & Guarding qualification.
* Experience managing work in high-risk highway environments.
* Proven leadership of diverse, multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence.
* Goal-driven with a track record of exceeding client expectations.
* Experience in utility services or similar operational environments.
* Ability to manage performance and implement change.
* Proficiency in MS Office and work management systems.
* Reliable and flexible with a demonstrated ability to adapt.
Qualifications:
* A relevant degree is desirable but significant experience can suffice.
* Full UK driving license required.
