Hospiceat Home Carlisle and North Lakeland is seeking a dedicated and experienced RegisteredNurse to join our Clinical Services team, providinghigh-quality palliative and end-of-life care to patients in their own homes. Main duties of the job
Towork without supervision in Hospice at Homes nursing team as a 1stlevel Registered Nurse leading on the assessment and review of patients andcarers/relatives receiving support from Hospice atHome Carlisle and North Lakeland.
To effectivelycoordinate and manage the Hospice at Home Day and Night Nursing Team,Befriending, Complementary Therapy and Occupational Therapy services.
Participate in thedirect provision of patient care and liaise with members of themulti-disciplinary team and palliative care team in order to achieve this.
To oversee thesmooth operation of the out of hours on call system and to also participate inthe on call rota.
To develop andsupport nurses through an effective appraisal and development process identifyinglearning needs and training opportunities in conjunction with them.
To support the Directorof Clinical Services in the delivery of mandatory training for staff andvolunteers
To liaise withthe Director of Clinical Services in relation to required aspects of role andservice provision.

Hospice atHome is a charitable organisation working alongside and in collaboration withother specialist palliative care providers, local primary care services andAdult Social Care as well as acute settings and residential care.
We offer day and night nursing care and support, respite provision,specialist services of Lymphoedema and Occupational Therapy, Bereavement andFamily Support, Complementary Therapy and a Befriending Service.
Care is provided by Registered Nurses, NursingAssociates, and Assistant Practitioners. Health Care Assistants, Volunteers,Counsellors and Allied Health Care Professionals supported by administrativestaff.
