Terumo Aortic are currently looking to recruit an Engineering Leader- Process Development to join the team. This role will ensure stable, effective, capable and well-documented manufacturing processes and continual improvement of product quality, sustained reductions in product cost. The main responsibilities of the role are; Analyse how processes affect overall production and find ways that these can be improved and developed to be more effective Manage teams monthly goals and objectives Supervise assigned team members to ensure individual allocated tasks are met within agreed timescales, allocating tasks to team members as appropriate Work collaboratively with engineers, operations and other internal staff 3rd party management, working with external partners and senior stakeholders when necessary Perform any other duties/ tasks/ projects as required by management Assume other responsibilities from time to time in order to support plant’s strategic plan and personal career plans The successful candidate will possess; Degree or extensive relevant previous experience in a high quality manufacturing environment Supervisory experience and strong interpersonal, planning and organisational skills Experience of Lean manufacturing principles i.e. SMED, VM, 5S etc would be advantageous Strong computer skills and industry knowledge Understand stakeholder management at all levels Strong project management experience A willingness to accept responsibility and make decisions
