Overview
Are you enthusiastic about supporting the mental health and well-being of children and young people? We are seeking practitioners to support pupils with various Special Educational Needs (SEN) in SEN schools.
Responsibilities
* Support pupils on a 1:1 basis or within a general classroom setting.
* Work alongside the class teacher to ensure appropriate support is in place for students.
* Plan and run activities with pupils both in and outside the classroom to support mental health and SEN needs.
* Provide ongoing support and guidance to pupils as part of a team in a range of East London schools.
Details
This position is on a full-time basis, with full support and guidance provided. There are opportunities to complete additional training while in role. Pay is £90-£112 per day, based on experience. There is an option to progress onto a contract with the right school.
Requirements/Qualifications
* Experience supporting pupils in school or an alternative setting is desirable.
* Experience with mental health support and SEN needs is beneficial.
* Ability to work 1:1 or within a classroom, and to run activities with pupils outside the classroom.
