The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Retail division for a Head of Retail. In this role, you will oversee the operations of 13 stores and involvement in website activity/functionality, featuring a wide range of Adnams products, including our award-winning beers, wines, and handcrafted spirits, as well as homeware and food ranges. Some of our eclectic stores also include make your own gin labs, a café, and host individual events.
With a front-facing focus, you will lead a team of store managers, building highly skilled, high-performing teams. You will provide inspirational leadership, developing your teams by creating direction, passion, and a fun work environment.
What We Are Looking For:
Someone with good product knowledge of beers, wines and spirits, and most importantly a passion for learning more.
As Head of Retail, you will bring extensive knowledge and a proven track record of maximizing the profitability of retail operations.
To be successful in this role, you will be energetic and curious, with an exceptional track record of running premium retail stores. You will be service-driven, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive.
You will understand that our success is built on our people. You will have excellent communication and influencing skills, knowing how to build strong relationships.
Key Responsibilities:

* Confident in data analysis to utilize and drive commercial business decisions. Manage and report on budgets and P&L with the ability to plan.

* Experience in leading and motivating teams to deliver exceptional service and meet key objectives.
* Ability to collaborate effectively across a range of stakeholders.
* Plan effectively for key trading events.
* Encourage and maintain leading-edge operational standards.
