The Role:
1. Deal with the public, in person and by telephone in accordance with the council's Customer Care Standards, dealing with first-hand client enquiries, problems, difficulties or complaints and record as appropriate to ensure a high level of customer service provision.
2. Operate a range of computerised booking/cash and room hire systems and undertake the uploading and maintenance of all Arts Service season programme information to the computerised Box Office system and update and maintain the live events sections of the council's websites for all Arts Service events and activities.
3. Provide administrative support for the Arts Service including, the maintenance of customer databases; coalition and evaluation of customer satisfaction surveys and additional features of the computerised Box Office system, such as market research and marketing activities for the promotion of the Arts Service, including telesales and audience development initiatives.
4. Promote of all Arts Service events and activities and other council services and special events and assist at events, as required.
Hours of work: 37 hrs per week
Requirements:
5. Five GCSE passes at Grade A-C, NVQ Level 2 in Administration or equivalent
6. A minimum of one years' experience in a similar role
