What youll do
There is so much more involved than just stuck in an office monitoring CCTV or patrolling the premises.
The first line of support for our customers when our wider team or their own support network isnt around to help!
Youll manage the health and safety of the building, patrolling to check fire doors, making sure everything is locked and secure.
Thinking on your feet and manage a situation on the spot, such as investigating suspicious activity or raising the alarm when we need to engage the emergency services.
Finally, if there is time, youll also help us make sure that everything is clean and tidy, so you need to be ok with wielding the mop or broom as well!

You have
Passion and experience in supporting others, either personally or professionally
You get a kick out of supporting the most vulnerable in society (maybe youve worked in public service, or the military). You know whats required to look after the public and our customers too.
You recognise when things are about to go wrong and are confident intervening in a sensitive way.
A team player with the confidence to work alone. Dont worry youll have the full back up of our wider team including our out of hours emergency support team

The practical bits
Working Saturday & Sunday on a 4 week (rolling) rota between the hours of 8 am and 11pm.
Although youll work weekends / lone work, we do get together regularly (in the daytime) for training and team meetings
Able to use technology to monitor CCTV, update records and communicate with colleagues
Youll need an Enhanced DBS check done (we pay for it)
