Job Summary: Responsible for providing direction to PMO Ops Engineering, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the scope of the Programme Management Office and supporting the Engineering Managers in the following activities. *Your key responsibility is to provide a compliant integrated framework of processes and tools to assist engineering managers with the operational management of their organization to help them meet their objectives. *Your role is to engage with PMO Ops Resources to help Engineering Managers achieve their commitments regarding delivery (deliverables, milestones), non-recurring and recurring costs (NRC and RC), Earned Value Management (EVM), Risk Management and quality. *You are expected to address and report any irregularities with regard to the program and project management reference system. *You are expected to make recommendations to ensure continuous process improvement and the deployment of best practices. *You provide information and recommendations to assist in decision-making regarding programs, projects or business lines and you can be asked to stand in for an Engineering Manager on a temporary basis. *You must be proficient in Data Analytics. *While management, planning, resource allocation, communication of lead-times, financial data, risks and opportunities remain the sole responsibility of Engineering Managers you are expected to provide information and advice on these areas in support of Engineering and Programmes. Scope of responsibilities: The role has process, methods and tools management responsibilities and is expected to perform across all of the various functions within the SGB business related to Programme delivery. -Change Management -Risk Management -Financial -Governance & Reporting -Integrated Planning -PMO Functional Knowledge, Experience, Training and Qualifications: -Project Management Methodologies (Training / qualification). -Engagement of Project Teams not under direct line management (Knowledge / Experience). -Controlling processes, reference systems and tools. -Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially EXCEL. -Experience of data management, analysis and the preparation of reports & presentations. -Knowledge of problem solving techniques and continuous improvement methods. -Managing deadlines and resources. -Knowledge and understanding of Cost Monitoring and Control Principles internally in Safran or external equivalent. -Knowledge and understanding of the Safran Risk Management Tool RiTo or external equivalent.
