About the Job:
We are seeking a UK-focused Sports Betting Content Writer with at least 2 years of experience in creating content within the sports betting industry. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with a deep understanding of the UK's sports landscape and culture. You should have native-level English proficiency, excellent research abilities, and expertise in SEO and content optimization, particularly with tools like WordPress. In this role, you will craft engaging and accurate content tailored to the UK audience. A background in sports journalism or a similar sports-related field would be highly valued. If you are detail-oriented, creative, and passionate about delivering compelling sports betting content, you could be an excellent addition to our team.
What You Will Be Doing:
* Content Creation:
Produce high-quality, original content related to sports betting, including articles, guides, reviews, news, and promotional materials targeting the UK market.
* Brief Creation & Collaboration:
Work closely with content managers, SEOs, and cross-functional teams—including product managers, designers, developers, and affiliate managers—to create detailed article briefs and align content strategies with business goals.
* Research & Market Awareness:
Conduct thorough research on sports topics and industry-related developments to produce insightful, engaging content and stay informed about the latest sports betting regulations, new products, and market trends in the UK.
* SEO Optimisation:
Implement keyword research and SEO best practices to increase website traffic and boost user engagement.
* Content Editing:
Review and refine all content to ensure it meets clarity, coherence, and correctness standards, adhering to the company's style guidelines.
What Would Make You a Great Fit?
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in content writing roles within the sportsbook industry, with a proven track record of high-quality output.
* Native-level English proficiency with a deep understanding of the UK's sports industry and culture.
* Strong knowledge of sports betting products, markets, and terminologies.
* Proficiency in SEO tools and WordPress, with the ability to effectively optimize content for search engines.
* Exceptional ability to conduct comprehensive research on relevant topics to create insightful and original content.
* A detail-oriented approach committed to producing high-quality, error-free content.
* Strong teamwork skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
