Job Summary
As a Payments Business Relationship Manager you will provide product relationship management support between Network Management and the Payments Business for the High Value Clearing, Low Value Clearing and FX Products. You will collaborate and partner closely with the LOB Payments Representative to manage the overall strategic engagement and support the Payments business require from Network Management. You will need to demonstrate an ability to deeply engage with the Payments Product Heads and ability to manage the implementation of change across the firm's global network of Cash Agent Banks and Payments FMIs. This will entail close collaboration and partnership across Network Management, Payments Product, Operations, and Client Service.
You will reports into the Global Head of Cash Network Management and Co-Head of FMI Network Management and will align closely with the Payments Line of Business Representative. As the Payments Business Relationship Manager you will manage internal relationships and connect the Businesses to their markets and providers. You will require a deep understanding of key Payment's products and services such as; High Value Clearing, Low Value Clearing and FX. Key aspects of your role will be to champion business needs, act as a product point of contact, in partnership with the Line of Business Representative, and advise the business on market standards, risks, changes and trends. This aspect of the role requires both a risk, controls and relationship management mind-set. It is a global role requiring extensive collaboration with the Network Management Regional Cash Heads and wider Network Management group.
Job responsibilities
* As the High Value Clearing, Low Value Clearing and FX Payments Business Relationship Manager you will focus on the day-to-day relationship with the Payments organisation, connecting the business to its markets and providers. This will include deep stakeholder engagement at a senior (MD) level to champion business needs and act as a central point of contact for the Payments products.
* You will be required to Participate in Business committees and governance forums, as appropriate.
* You will serve as a Payments Product SME within the Network Management space.
* You will be expected to interact with Senior Product managers; High Value Clearing, Low Value Clearing, FX Products to understand strategy and new opportunities.
* You will ensure Network Management colleagues are kept abreast of the needs and strategy of the Business, building common goals and delivering the businesses objectives.
* You will be expected to identify and implements solutions to address any challenges, identify developing trends across markets to enable Business to offer a competitive advantage to their clients.
* You will drive the relationship between High Value Clearing, Low Value Clearing and FX Products and Network Management, ensuring performance standards are met and product knowledge is socialised across the broader group.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
* Possess strong understanding of the Financial Services industry, the regulatory environment and impact on business strategy: Significant work experience in the Financial Services industry, preferably with experience in Network Management and High Value Clearing, Low Value Clearing and FX Products.
* Have strong and effective communication skills:
o Very strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to communicate succinctly, providing opinion and challenge senior stakeholders, as appropriate.
o Experience of liaising with and presenting to senior management.
o Excellent attention to detail with the ability to coach teams.
o You will have the ability to consistently deliver work of a high standard, and to tight timelines, including:
o You will actively demonstrate accountability, responsibility, and ownership for own objectives and team deliverables.
o You will have the ability to prioritise, whilst managing stakeholder expectations.
* Deep knowledge of following Cash Products: Account Solutions, High/Low Value Clearing, Payables/Receivables, Liquidity, Cross-Currency (FX)
* You will have proven leadership experience.
* Ability to influence and work with others to achieve objectives.
* Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with colleagues at all levels and across functions in a collaborative manner in order to achieve results.
* You will have experience working with global teams.
