Robert Half is delighted to be working with an East Midlands business to recruit a Head of Finance Business Partnering. This role will look after an experienced team of FBPs and Management Accountants and will report into an experienced Finance Director. The role can be home based 2/3 days a week.
About the Role
As the Head of Finance Business Partnering, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and driving the financial performance of the business. You will lead a team dedicated to providing insightful financial analysis and advice to key stakeholders, ensuring the alignment of financial plans with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and lead a high-performing finance business partnering team.
2. Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making across the business.
3. Foster strong relationships with senior stakeholders to influence financial strategies.
4. Drive the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
5. Lead on financial performance analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
What We're Looking For:
6. A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience.
7. Proven experience in senior finance business partnering roles, ideally within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Along with experience in large team management roles
8. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
9. Strong analytical skills, with a knack for translating complex financial data into actionable insights.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
