Job Title: Finance Assistant
Location: Lincoln / Goole (can be either - hybrid working)
Contract Length: 9 months

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are seeking a Finance Assistant to work closely with the Commercial Manager and Project Accountant and play a key role in supporting the backbone of financial operations.
Imagine This:

Accounts Payable: Managing the accounts payable process, including GRIR balance verification, processing supplier invoices, and resolving discrepancies and queries
*
Month-End Close: Supporting the Cost Accountant with the full month-end process, including preparing postings, accruals, and provisions
*
Reporting and Analysis: Assisting with monthly reporting, including system reconciliations, variance analysis against budget and forecast, and providing ad hoc analysis, especially concerning inventory topics
*
System Interface: Reconciling operational and financial systems, and investigating/resolving any interfacing issues
*
Process Improvement: Driving digitalisation and continuous process improvements within the finance function
What You’ll Bring:

Good MS Excel skills essential (VLookups, Pivot Tables etc)
*
Finance qualification a bonus but not essential
*
A demonstrable understanding and interpretation of key financial statements
*
Knowledge and experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is desirable
