As a Merchandise Planning Coordinator, you will support the Associate Merchandise Planner and Merchandise Planner in driving business by assisting with the execution of quarterly/annual assortment strategies. This role is based in our London office in Hammersmith and requires four days of on-site attendance per week. What we’re looking for: In this role, you will support all department activities, including analyzing item, category, and channel performance to optimize in-season opportunities and minimize liability. You will identify stock concerns and proactively communicate these to the team. This role is crucial in ensuring our products reach the right guests at the right time, requiring strong analytical and communication skills. Support Associate Merchandise Planner to maintain department items and communicate assortment changes. Prepare and review weekly sales performance, map new items, and update flow. Ensure reports are accurate and all stock movement is accounted for through the supply chain. Own and maintain the order tracker for EMEA, APAC, and new marketplaces. Communicate stock movement from port to warehouse to key stakeholders. Support leader with business insights and analytics to optimize in-season opportunities and minimize liability. Work with buying and Associate Merchandise Planner to ensure timely product releases and escalate concerns immediately. Manage planning tasks associated with trading performance, intake movement, and product availability for allocation. Ensure allocation mix and range plans are available for each channel. Identify stock concerns and proactively communicate action plans to leadership. Assist the Associate Merchandise Planner with projects as needed. Manage ad-hoc reporting as necessary. Utilize available tools to analyze business performance. Ensure all liquidation activity is set up accurately on the system under the guidance of the Associate Merchandise Planner. Required Qualifications & Skills: Degree-level education in a related field or equivalent work experience Recent experience working in retail in-store or as a Merchandising Assistant, allocator/Distributor within an omni-channel retailer, essential, Demonstrable experience of working in teams and building effective relationships.
