Are you an experienced SENDCo who wants to make a real impact? Do you thrive in environments where every day brings fresh purpose, creativity, and the chance to change a young person's future? If so, this role could be your next big step.

We're working with a growing specialist provision supporting students aged 11–16 with SEMH needs, autism, and a range of additional learning needs. The school is expanding and looking for an inspiring SENDCo to join their leadership team and help shape an exceptional, inclusive offer for every learner.

Why This Role Stands Out

* A chance to influence whole‑school SEND strategy in a setting where every student has an EHCP
* Join a forward‑thinking team who genuinely value collaboration, compassion, and trauma‑informed practice
* Be part of a provision in an exciting stage of growth, where your ideas and leadership will directly shape the future
* Work closely with passionate teaching and pastoral staff dedicated to improving life chances for young people who deserve a fresh start
Excellent professional development and leadership opportunities

What You'll Be Leading On

* Driving a high‑quality, fully inclusive SEND offer across the school
* Coordinating EHCP processes, Annual Reviews, and personalised support plans
* Supporting staff to deliver effective strategies for students with SEMH, autism, ADHD, communication needs and associated challenges
* Working hand‑in‑hand with families and external agencies (EPs, SALT, CAMHS, social care and more)
* Providing training and coaching to build staff confidence in SEND and trauma‑informed practice
Ensuring every student is understood, supported and able to make meaningful progress academically, socially and emotionally

What We're Looking For

* A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)
* Strong experience supporting students with SEND (ideally SEMH or specialist provision experience)
* Confident leading Annual Reviews and EHCP processes
* Skilled at coaching staff, influencing change, and creating a positive, aspirational SEND culture
* A calm, reflective, resilient professional with superb communication skills
National SENCo Award is desirable (or willingness to complete)

What You'll Gain

* The opportunity to play a key leadership role within a nurturing, ambitious and innovative specialist school
* A supportive senior team who genuinely prioritise staff wellbeing
* CPD designed to grow your leadership skills, broaden your SEND expertise and help you progress
* A workplace rooted in compassion, respect and high expectations
The chance to make long‑lasting, life‑changing impact on some of the most deserving young people in education
