We are seeking a skilled professional to play a central role in the success of Connect to Work, taking day‑to‑day responsibility for monitoring, analysing, and reporting on management information from across the programme. Salary : £32,597 to £35,412 per annum, £26,430 to £28,712 (pro rata for part time) Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract until 30 November 2029. Working Pattern: Part-time (30 hours per week) Location: County Hall, West Street, Chichester PO19 1RQ Interview Date: week commencing Monday 16 March 2026 This role requires the successful candidate to travel throughout West Sussex and Brighton & Hove for visits, working flexibly to meet the needs of the programme. Regular attendance at your base location will also be necessary, and there will be opportunities for remote work. Final arrangements will be confirmed with the successful candidate. You will need to be able to travel independently around the county, including to areas that may not be easily accessible by public transport. Pool cars and pool bikes available. About the Job As a Reporting and Compliance Officer, you will work closely with the Reporting and Compliance Lead and colleagues across the Connect to Work team to ensure programme activities remain on track and deliver the outcomes expected. Working on the delivery of the Connect to Work programme promises to offer a unique experience each day, filled with unexpected challenges and rewards! There are several key responsibilities that will be integral to this role, including: Monitoring the programme's compliance by routinely checking that activities, data and reporting processes meet the funding conditions and supported employment standards. Analysing complex performance and outcome data to assess delivery against the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) and Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF) models, identifying patterns, variances and areas requiring improvement. Working collaboratively with operational leads and the Reporting and Compliance Lead to identify gaps in quality or outcomes and support the development of effective improvement strategies. Coordinating the Connect to Work risk register, ensuring risks are monitored, recorded, and mitigated through close work with operational teams and commissioned providers. Ensuring data protection processes are robust, compliant with UK data protection law, and aligned with the requirements of the Connect to Work programme. Required Qualifications and Skills A professional qualification in compliance, governance, finance, project management, or equivalent relevant experience. Strong Microsoft Office skills, including confident use of Excel for data analysis and reporting. Experience working collaboratively to achieve funding or project outcomes. Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, accessible reports and recommendations for diverse audiences. Strong numerical ability, with confidence manipulating and interpreting data. Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise, and manage multiple activities effectively. High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work. Proven ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, including colleagues and individuals with lived experience, to co‑create and implement ideas.
