? About the Role
* 10 hours per week, flexible schedule
* Focus on building confidence, emotional wellbeing, and self-belief
* Academic support in GCSE Maths and English, introduced gradually at the young person's pace
* Sessions will begin at home, with the goal of transitioning into local community settings such as libraries or quiet cafés to promote confidence and social interaction
* A mentoring style is essential - this is not a high-pressure academic role
?? Requirements
* Minimum 6 months' experience in a UK-based education setting
* SEN experience desirable, but not essential
* Calm, patient, trauma-informed approach
* Ability to build positive, trusting relationships
* Comfortable supporting a young person both academically and emotionally
* Ideally a driver who is willing to transport the student to local public settings when appropriate
