SEND Teaching Assistant (Primary)

The role:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with a range of additional needs (incl. SEMH, communication, cognition, and sensory profiles)
* Collaborate with the SENCO and class teachers to deliver tailored interventions
* Support children's emotional wellbeing through nurturing relationships and reflective conversations
* Encourage independence, confidence, and self-regulation in a creative and supportive way
* Contribute to classroom life, trips, and whole-school projects, including drama, outdoor learning, and art

Salary: Scale 3 or 4 ( 23,000- 26,000 actual salary depending on experience)
Candidate requirements:
* Experience working with children, particularly those with SEND (in school or other settings)
* Creative, empathetic, and confident in building relationships with children
* Passion for inclusive education and holistic learning
* Strong teamwork skills and willingness to reflect, adapt, and learn
* Degree or interest in pursuing teacher training in future (desirable, not essential)
