The role
Nursery Manager
Up to £50,000 per annum + Bonus Scheme
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Nursery Manager to lead a thriving early years setting where children are encouraged to explore, discover, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
Designed to inspire curiosity and creativity, the nursery provides bright, engaging learning environments filled with opportunities for children to learn through play and hands-on experiences. The setting is vibrant and busy, with well-resourced rooms that support children through every stage of their development while creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for families and staff alike.
We're looking for a strong and experienced leader who can confidently manage a larger nursery environment, support and develop teams, and drive high standards across all areas of the setting.
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
- Previous experience as a Nursery Manager
- Experience managing a large nursery setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Excellent knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
- Strong organisational and operational management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day running of the nursery
- Ensure high standards of care, education, and safeguarding are maintained
- Manage, mentor, and develop the nursery team
- Drive occupancy, parent engagement, and overall nursery performance
- Ensure compliance with EYFS requirements, policies, and procedures
- Monitor quality across the setting and implement continuous improvements
- Manage budgets, staffing, and operational performance
- Build strong relationships with children, families, staff, and external professionals
- Promote a positive and inclusive nursery culture
