Imagine This:

Purchase Order Management: Take ownership of the complete PO lifecycle. This includes timely and accurate conversion of requisitions, rigorous review and approval of any variations or amendments, and ensuring the final release is compliant and documented correctly within our systems.

Sourcing and Execution: Actively participate in sourcing activities for medium-volume commodities and services. This involves preparing and issuing comprehensive Requests for Quotes (RFQs), conducting detailed bid analysis, and making informed recommendations to stakeholders.

Negotiation Leadership: Lead complex commercial negotiations with suppliers to secure the maximum possible cost savings and ensure favourable contractual terms. You will be responsible for balancing quality, delivery, and price to achieve the best overall value for the company.

Compliance and Governance: Maintain and enforce strict adherence to all internal company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and the governance structure within our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, specifically SAP. Data integrity and process compliance are non-negotiable aspects of this role.

Stakeholder and Supplier Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact between the Procurement function and various internal departments (e.g., Finance, Operations, Engineering). You will also actively manage a portfolio of critical supplier relationships, fostering collaboration, driving performance, and conducting regular business reviews.

Process Optimisation: Continuously identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement within the P2P cycle, contributing to the standardisation and enhancement of global procurement best practices
What You Need to Bring:

High proficiency and hands-on experience with SAP or similar

Exceptionally strong collaborative skills with the ability to build rapport and influence both internal stakeholders and external suppliers
*
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrable ability to lead tough commercial negotiations and draft clear, concise correspondence and reports
