Vacancy Type: Fixed Term Contract (Maternity cover), 42.5 hours per week (There is potential for this maternity cover role to transition into a permanent position, subject to business needs and individual performance)
Established in 1927, our client is the UKs leading independent supplier of limestone powder, granules, and aggregates. As one of the few remaining independent hard rock quarries in England, and one of the largest still family owned, they employ over 170 people, including those whose families also have worked with them for generations, and many of their employees have been with the company for over 25 years.
The Role
Responsibilities
* Managing customer liaison on orders and deliveries from placement through to invoicing
* Ensuring an excellent standard of service and outstanding customer focus
* Receiving and processing orders efficiently
* Troubleshooting delivery issues and investigating and resolving customer complaints in a timely manner
* Handling sales calls and enquiries, both reactively and proactively
* Preparing quotations and orders within the companys business systems
* Pricing contracts in line with company policy

* Full UK Driving Licence (Desirable)
* Previous customer experience (Desirable)
