Your Role: What You'll Do
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in the lives of K-12 students. Your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering direct speech-language therapy services in a school-based setting.
* Conducting assessments and creating individualized treatment plans.
* Developing IEP goals and working with students one-on-one and in small groups.
* Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to enhance communication and academic achievement.
* Participating in IEP meetings and ensuring compliance with all guidelines.
* Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of student progress.
Qualifications & Certifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
* An active license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
* A Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).
* ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
* Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply!
