Job Description:
The Product Manager will be responsible for owning the product strategy and all elements within the product team. The achievement of predefined KPIs will be accomplished through the creation and continual review of robust and forward-looking plans that utilize the full skills and experience of the team.
The Product Manager will oversee the conception, development, innovation, and continual improvement of their products at BGA. They will drive the product vision, oversee development and management of the product strategy, and keep customer needs at the forefront, adapting to emerging trends.
Responsibilities will include:
* Creation and ownership of the product strategy
* Managing key stakeholders and ensuring engagement across the entire business
* Achieving profitable growth across product groups
* Implementing go-to-market strategies from planning to tactical activities
* Managing commercial performance, analyzing trends, and identifying revenue or margin opportunities
* Developing budgets, forecasts, metrics, and measures; monitoring and evaluating results
* Ensuring cross-functional collaboration
* Defining and implementing pricing strategies
* Developing sustainable new range development plans using project management tools
* Marketing the range and brand to professional tradespeople
* Managing the entire product lifecycle
* Understanding customer needs and ensuring customer focus in product development
Experience - (Must have):
* Automotive experience, ideally 2+ years
* Understanding of OE/Aftermarket cataloguing systems
* Customer-first approach with evidence of combining product knowledge and market insight
* Strong people skills and assertiveness in leadership and decision-making
* Analytical, strategic, and coordination skills
* Commercial and financial analytical capabilities
* Excellent IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office and Excel (formulas, pivot tables)
* Interest in problem-solving and data analysis to formulate practical solutions
