HGV Class 1 Shunter Drivers – Warrington (WA5)

The Recruitment Crowd (TRC) is hiring experienced Class 1 Shunter Drivers (C+E) to join our client's busy yard operation in Warrington (WA5).
Shifts Available:
* Days or Nights.
* Flexible shift patterns across Monday to Sunday.
* Ongoing, regular work.
Pay Rates (Rolled-Up Holiday Pay Only):
Please note that from the 23rd of November till 20th of December there will be a £2 uplift on below rates.
Days:
* Monday to Thursday: £17.15
* Friday to Sunday: £21.65
Nights:
* Monday to Thursday: £18.40
* Friday to Sunday: £22.62
The Role:
* Shunting trailers safely around the yard.
* Precise reversing and manoeuvring in tight spaces.
* Vehicle safety checks (pre and post shift).
* Working closely with yard and dispatch teams.
* Adhering to all site safety policies.
* Light yard duties as required.
Requirements:
* Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
* Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
* Maximum 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
* Successful site assessment (theory and practical).
* Good knowledge of WTD legislation.
* Strong communication and a safety-first attitude.
