Our client is a leading manufacturer of printed folded cartons, supplying high-quality packaging solutions to a diverse range of industries. As their business continues to push forward, they are looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on Health & Safety Manager to take ownership of their H&S culture and drive it to the next level.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and engaging Health & Safety professional who thrives on working with people at all levels, from the shop floor to senior leadership. You will be instrumental in fostering a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance, and making Health & Safety a key part of the company’s day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, mentor, and inspire employees at all levels to engage with Health & Safety
* Develop and implement effective H&S policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation
* Champion a positive safety culture, driving initiatives to improve awareness and ownership across the business
* Conduct risk assessments, audits, and safety inspections, identifying areas for improvement and implementing practical solutions
* Investigate incidents, near misses, and hazards, ensuring lessons learned are implemented
* Work closely with senior management, production teams, and employees to integrate H&S into daily operations
* Keep up to date with industry regulations and best practices, continuously improving the company H&S standards
* Support future business growth by shaping and developing the role over the coming years
Requirements:
* Ideally NEBOSH Certificate (minimum requirement) – Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred – Client is open to putting a candidate through NEBOSH
* Strong hands-on leader with the ability to engage, motivate & drive change across teams
* Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within packaging, printing, or a similar industry
* Excellent communication and influencing skills – ability to work with everyone from shop floor staff to senior management
* A bubbly, energetic, and passionate personality who can bring people on board and make H&S engaging
* Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-driven approach
* A genuine passion for Health & Safety and a drive to continuously improve standards
