If you are all about meeting pupils where they are and helping them move forward one step at a time, this could be the role for you. What you’ll be doing as a SEND teacher Teaching and adapting lessons for the pupils with a range of needs (including ASD, MLD and SEMH). Working closely with TA’S, therapists and parents to build strong support networks. Bringing creativity, structure and calm energy to every lesson. Making progress personal, not just measurable. Requirements for a SEND Teacher QTS Experience working in a classroom setting, ideally with SEND pupils A nurturing, consistent approach Confidence working alongside TAs, therapists, and SENCOs Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
