IT Support Engineer
Wytech is a dynamic and growing IT solutions and service provider serving the Small Business sector.
A fantastic opportunity to join a small but established team. Working predominately from the office, your main duties will be to provide 1st and 2nd line support for IT queries. Some site visits are necessary, so a car and willingness to travel is needed.
You will be professional, initiative-taking and have an aptitude for IT. You must possess excellent written, verbal communication and organisational skills.
Salary is dependent on experience, a minimum of 24 months experience in a similar role is required.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Desktop, application and cloud support in a predominantly Microsoft environment.
* Responding to client emails and support calls and updating them on issue status.
* Advanced diagnosis on PCs, peripherals and applications.
* Administrative tasks within department, such as reporting and documentation.
* To ensure that commitments to customers are delivered.
* To always demonstrate professional behaviour to customers & colleagues.
Required Skills and Experience
* Windows desktop & server environments.
* Endpoint investigation and remediation.
* Patch management using Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) tools.
* Deploying and troubleshooting LAN's, WAN's & wireless networks.
* Perimeter security, e.g. OPNsense firewalls.
* Office 365 administration, including Intune, Azure and Entra.
* Microsoft products, including Office, Power Apps, SharePoint and Teams.
Preferred Skills and Experience
* Threat detection and remediation using EDR tools.
* Vulnerability and penetration testing, Cyber Essentials auditing.
* Hosted Telephony.
* Ubiquity and Apple products.
Any further certifications in IT an advantage but not essential.
