Job Title: Cover Supervisor Location: Sheffield (S2, S3) Pay rate: £460 -£650 per week (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Step into the classroom with confidence and ensure pupils remain focused and engaged throughout the school day. GSL Education are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to support schools in the Sheffield (S2, S3) area, providing reliable classroom supervision when teachers are absent. In this role, the Cover Supervisor (CS) will oversee pre-set lessons, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and help pupils stay on task in a calm and structured environment. Core Role Expectations of Cover Supervisor: Supervise lessons using the work provided by teaching staff. Maintain a positive and orderly classroom atmosphere. Encourage pupils to remain engaged with their learning tasks. Report back to staff on lesson progress and any concerns. Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times. A confident, reliable, and adaptable approach. Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
