Your new company A regional Main Contractor who has won numerous awards for both projects completed and their in-house processes and culture is looking for an "up and coming" Site Engineer to join the company. Your new role Your role as a Site Engineer for this regional Main Contractor will include the below. However, this is an exhaustive list and my client is very open to training and developing the successful candidate in other areas should they not have as much experience. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with C.D.M. Regulations and compliance with the Company's safe working practices. Assist in the preparation of construction programmes, preparation of Method Statements, Action Plans and Risk Assessments. Setting out the works. Checking site work to ensure compliance with the specifications and drawings. Agreement of site measurements and records with the client's staff. Assist in maintaining drawing files, drawing register and site filling system. Liaise with the design department to ensure updated information is always used. Taking off quantities from drawings for measurement purposes and to assist in the preparation of requisitions. Assist in the preparation of the construction completion documentation. Ensure that the works are constructed to a good quality in line with the specification and good working practice. Ensure that the required quality records are maintained. In conjunction with other site staff, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with current legislation, the company health & safety policy, procedures and safe working practices. Ensure good, honest and open lines of communication are established It is vitally important that Site Engineers lead by example in terms of safety behaviour What you'll need to succeed Essential BTEC National or HNC in Civil Engineering/Construction (minimum) Levelling & Surveying experience (using total stations & automatic level/ Robotics) Desirable First Aid at Work qualification SSSTS CSCS Supervision card What you'll get in return My client boasts award-winning benefits packages and employee benefits.
