Wiltshire College & University Centre have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering to join our team. Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire Salary: £28,168 - £39,244 per annum (Academic Grade 4 – 13) plus a £3,000 specialist Skills Shortage Bonus (dependant on skills, qualifications and experience) Job Type: Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year Close Date: Friday 20th June 2025 About Us: Wiltshire College & University Centre plays a vital role in Wiltshire’s economy, inspiring people to develop the skills they need to achieve. Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering – Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging, industry-relevant lessons to FE and HE engineering students. Bring the subject to life through real-world case studies, lab work, and project-based learning. Guide and mentor students through coursework, projects, and career choices. Contribute to curriculum development, helping to keep our programs cutting-edge and employer relevant. Work closely with an enthusiastic, supportive team across engineering disciplines. Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering – You: We are looking for candidates who have: A degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related subject. Industry experience that you can draw on to enrich your teaching. A teaching qualification (or a willingness to gain one with our support).
