Kennedys is looking for an experienced Claims Handler with a strong background in Professional Indemnity to join our growing claims team. This is an excellent opportunity to work remotely with a leading global law firm, supporting high-quality claims handling services for insurer and corporate clients.

The Role

In this position, you will manage a varied caseload of Professional Indemnity claims, working closely with clients, brokers, and legal teams to deliver efficient, accurate, and commercially focused outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Handle Professional Indemnity claims from first notification through to settlement
Assess coverage, liability, and quantum issues
Liaise with insurers, brokers, solicitors, and insured parties
Provide clear reporting, recommendations, and reserve updates
Ensure claims are managed in line with regulatory requirements and service standards
Maintain accurate documentation and file management on claims systems
Support negotiations and dispute resolution where required

About You

We're Keen To Hear From Candidates Who Have

Proven experience in Professional Indemnity claims handling
Strong knowledge of UK insurance claims processes
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
The ability to work independently in a remote environment
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Experience working within a legal or insurer-focused setting (desirable)
