We are a team that is passionate about cyber security and technology, comfortable with operating in fast-paced environments where we define and lead the development of cyber strategies, cyber programmes and managing cyber risk. We are looking for likeminded individuals who thrive on the challenge of solving the toughest cyber security challenges faced by organisations today. Typically, this will be people with a blend of technical and soft skills, enabling them to both analyse cyber security challenges while effectively communicating with a range of stakeholders - from end users and technical specialists through to senior IT professionals and members of the board. As an Identity and Access Management Leader at Deloitte you will be responsible for the overall design and continuous improvements of our Identity and Access Management capability for clients. You will have a strong background in architecture and engineering, with the ability to design and implement identity and access management solutions. You will also support at a business level, helping clients evolve and define their Operating Model, refining processes to shape the overall technical design and tooling selection. We empower you to research and experiment with different approaches and tooling to ensure we remain on the cutting edge of Identity and Access Management, you will influence our macro approach and set the direction for how we meet our clients demands. Our projects vary greatly, and your responsibility will differ based on the focus of a specific client engagement or proposal, but your role is likely to include:
Client relationship development and networking, including CIOs, CTOs, Architecture Leads, Digital Product Leads, and Heads of IAM, building both on new connections, and strengthening existing ones, both within and outside of client engagements.
Producing materials for clients, e.g. eminence activities, go to market plans, client proposals, client deliverables, executive presentations.
Performing identity and access management specific domain level baseline exercises (e.g. gap assessments / maturity assessments) to surface gaps and issues
Defining target states at an identity and access management domain level to set out an ambitious yet pragmatic and achievable set of capabilities
Working with alliance partnerships to create a pipeline of opportunities and convert and deliver against that pipeline.
Supporting clients to implement identity and access management operating models (covering people, process and technology), leveraging your industry experience to develop pragmatic and workable solutions
Define IAM use cases, functional and non-functional solution requirements, and technical specifications e.g., user authentication, access control, integration, performance and scalability requirements and specifications.
Delivering projects in complex and time-pressured circumstances, adhering to standard project management approaches
Seek to improve and develop market strategy based upon observed cyber security and identity and access management trends.
Connect to your skills and professional experience
Whilst a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering is desirable, we are more interested in your real-world professional experience and your ability to turn this into impactful client outcomes.
Key skills – not every candidate requires all of these but should be familiar and/or have experience with a majority of these:
Building strong client relationships, in particularly within engagement delivery, and the ability to grow and build client relationships outside of delivery. Ability to understand client problems and issues and develop a proposal for how we can support.
Long standing identity and access management experience and network of relationships across clients.
Solid capability to produce client friendly materials, presenting complex ideas simply and professionally across a range of artefacts from proposals to solution documentation.
Commercial capability to develop proposals, produce cost estimates, propose compelling commercial offers and present well to clients.
Knowledge of operating model and roadmap approaches and experience defining and delivering this type of work.
Broad identity experience across IGA, PAM, AM, AD, CIAM, with demonstrable ability to build identity strategies which integrate into client enterprise architectures and beyond.
Experience in working with IGA, PAM, AM, AD, CIAM solutions such as SailPoint, Saviynt, CyberArk, Ping, Okta etc.
Experience working in a digital transformation environment supporting the definition of Identity architecture leveraging cloud native and/or other IAM solutions.
Strong and practical experience of cloud hosting services including, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory/Azure AD Domain Services, Federation Services, Certificate Services, DNS and DHCP.
Understanding of decentralised identity, verifiable credentials, microservices and Trust over IP architecture stack.
