Job Description:
Role Summary
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a competent, suitably experienced Senior Biomedical Scientist to join our team in the Exeter Histology Department.
The candidate should be an enthusiastic HCPC-registered Biomedical Scientist with an IBMS Specialist Portfolio and a postgraduate qualification conducive to FIBMS, such as an MSc. Experience and competency in all areas of Histopathology are essential.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Laboratory Manager to manage and organize the laboratory, ensuring a high-quality, efficient, and safe service. As a Senior Biomedical Scientist, additional duties include overseeing roles such as:
* Health and Safety Officer
* Advanced dissection
* Quality Officer
* Training Officer
