Commercial Manager Location: Birmingham, UK (Hybrid - office & remote) Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 DOE Type: Permanent, Full-time Sector: Digital Marketing Agency My client is a growing digital marketing agency and they're now looking to bring in a Commercial Manager to take full ownership of sales performance and revenue growth. This is a genuinely senior, hands-on role with real authority. You won't be operating at arm's length or passing decisions upward - you'll be trusted to run sales end-to-end, close work directly, and build a sales system that performs consistently without founder dependency. The focus is on predictable, sustainable growth rather than short-term wins. You'll be responsible for shaping how sales is done, making commercial decisions independently, and balancing growth with delivery capacity and long-term retention. This role would suit an experienced commercial or sales professional who is confident owning outcomes, closing retainers, and improving systems over time. You'll be comfortable operating autonomously, making judgement calls without perfect information, and standing behind the decisions you make.
