Konker is recruiting for a Mid-weight to Senior Interior Designer to join a growing, design-led studio of 16 people, currently expanding and hiring across several roles.
Based on the outskirts of Birmingham, the work is fast-paced and varied, centred on hospitality, commercial spaces and brand rollout projects, offering exposure to a wide mix of live schemes. This is a business investing in growth, not backfilling, and it shows in the workload and opportunities.
This role will suit a confident designer who takes ownership of briefs, works well within and team and delivers high-quality drawing packages.
The studio operates on a hybrid basis, blending home working with time in the office to keep collaboration strong. You’ll work alongside experienced designers and technicians in a structured but non-corporate environment, with the trust to manage your own workload.

What they’re looking for (in brief):
A Degree in Interior Architectural Design, or related discipline and proven experience in practice at Mid-Weight/Senior level.
Confidence working both independently and as part of a team, excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Experience with project management and understanding of wider project team hierarchies.
Exposure to hospitality, retail or commercial interior projects will be a clear advantage.
