Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permit Controller to join our dynamic team in Stevenage. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for supporting the Capital Projects team in the management of contractor activities by issuing General and Supplemental Permit to work, and to support monitoring of contractors on projects. To fulfil the role of General Permit Issuer, and Supplemental Permit Issuer as defined in VQD-SOP-005517 Fulfil responsibilities of the System modifier VQD-SOP-005106 Fire System Management Program communication of potential fire system impairment To manage project EHS risks during project delivery (Demolition, construction) To Provide support for EHS Audits Contractor Competency assurance Management of high-risk activities To ensure area hand backs are satisfactory to standards To collate and present H&S related statistical data To support accident and incident investigations To Engage with Local EHS Representatives To Engage with Area Owners and notify of disruption, facilitate Gemba walks and area handover
