Job Title: Groundworks Gang (3-Person Team) Location: Pangbourne, Berkshire Start Date: Monday, 18th August 2025 Duration: Until May/June 2026 Rate: Competitive Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday Project Overview: We are seeking a reliable and experienced 3-person groundworks gang for a long-term infrastructure project on a live water treatment site in Pangbourne. The scope includes the installation of new sludge tanks, requiring extensive ducting, pipework, concrete slabs, and general groundworks. The ducting phase must be completed by the end of September due to flood risk and scheduled SSE power upgrades in November. Flexibility is essential, as gangs may be rotated across tasks depending on site priorities. Key Responsibilities: * Install underground ducting and associated infrastructure * Lay and connect pipework to specification * Prepare and pour concrete slabs * Carry out general groundworks including excavation, trenching, and reinstatement * Operate small plant and tools as required * Work collaboratively and adapt to changing site needs * Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance Requirements: * Proven experience in groundworks and ducting installation * Valid CSCS cards for all gang members (essential) * Thames Water Passport (preferred or willingness to obtain) * Experience working on live utility or water treatment sites (advantageous) * Ability to work flexibly and follow site instructions * Own transport to site To Apply: Please submit details of your gang (names, experience, and certifications) and confirm availability for the 18th August 2025 start date
