What You Should Bring
* At least 2+ years of experience working at an MSP, supporting small and medium-sized business networks.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong IT and problem-solving skills in areas such as:
* Onsite router installations
* Basic Firewall installation
* SSL VPN configuration
* Acronis backup setups and troubleshooting
* Writing comprehensive procedures
* Monitoring Alerts
* Network Switches
* Server Alerts
* Monitoring Deployment
* Completion of IT Solutions & Project Work
* Network Switches & Firewalls
* Active Directory/Azure Active Directory Implementation
* Office 365 Migration & Management
* SharePoint Deployment
* Public Wi-Fi
* UPS
* NAS Drive
* Microsoft Intune
* Ability to work well in a team and provide valuable insights.
* Well-organized with responsibility for assigned tasks.
* Strong technical knowledge with a structured approach to solving IT issues.
* Full UK Driving Licence
Some Specifics of the Role
* Setting up and supporting small and medium business networks.
* Supporting PCs and servers remotely and on-site (Windows 10, 11, Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022).
* Installing business computer systems.
* Maintaining, installing, and migrating Office 365.
* Supporting customer applications.
* Managing Microsoft Exchange 2016/2019.
* Setting up email accounts.
* Managing DNS.
* Administering IP Phone systems via web interface.
* Working with diverse clients across various industries.
* Taking on technical leadership to help shape and develop long-term IT strategies for clients.
* Exposure to new technologies tailored to client needs.
* Opportunities to specialize in specific industry sectors.
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
Location: Wymondham
