A team player who builds positive relationships within teams, you will have experience working in a senior role within a busy Revenues environment. You should possess a thorough current working knowledge of Council Tax, Business Rates, and BIDs, including collection and enforcement legislation. You will represent South Hams and West Devon at both the magistrates' court and the Valuation Tribunal, and be able to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
You will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing the performance of Revenues staff by recording accuracy statistics and identifying training needs. An important initial part of the role will be to fully implement our software supplier's Performance Management and Quality Assurance module.
