Role Overview
The Reconciliation Clerk is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of operational and financial records across multiple regions. This role supports daily reconciliation processes, documentation handling, delivery confirmation, and communication with operational and finance teams. The position also contributes to weekly reporting and system updates.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Tasks
1. Reconciliation: Complete daily reconciliation for Purfleet, Midlands, and North regions, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved.
2. Documentation Handling: Print, scan, and organise PODs and workbench documents to maintain accurate and accessible records.
3. Paperwork Requests: Respond promptly to shift managers requesting paperwork, delivery details, or supporting documentation.
4. Esso Lifting: Carry out daily Esso lifting tasks and ensure all related information is accurately recorded.
5. Delivery Confirmation: Process daily delivery confirmation requests and update systems accordingly.
6. TIMS Updates: Update the Tesco billing system (TIMS) daily to ensure accurate billing data. Support the finance team by reviewing and resolving invoice?related queries, including participating in Teams calls when required.
Weekly Tasks
7. Dropped Load Delivery Report: Prepare and submit the weekly dropped load delivery report, ensuring all exceptions are captured and communicated.
