ELECTRICAL BUILDING SERVICES ENGINEER\n\nBIM Technician - Building Services (Revit MEP)\n Location: St. Albans\n Salary: £40,000 - £50,000\n\nAn award-winning and forward-thinking building services consultancy is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Revit MEP Technician to join their expanding BIM team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive, close-knit group of professionals working on a variety of exciting and impactful projects, with excellent opportunities for continued development.\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nAs a BIM Technician, you'll collaborate closely with engineers and BIM specialists to develop accurate and coordinated 3D Revit MEP models and supporting 2D documentation across RIBA Work Stages 1-5.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nCreate and manage Revit MEP models for:\nMechanical ventilation, heating, and cooling systems\nDomestic water and drainage systems\nElectrical containment and distribution\nCoordinate MEP services with architectural and structural layouts\nGenerate detailed 2D drawings, schematics, and Revit schedules\nManage COBie data integration and model parameters\nBuild and modify Revit families and system components\nContribute to model automation and data workflows using Dynamo\nMaintain compliance with internal BIM/CAD standards and document protocolsRequirements:\n\nMust have the right to work in the UK (British citizenship or valid work visa)\nRelevant technical qualification (degree or diploma in Building Services Engineering or similar)\nAt least 2 years of hands-on experience with Revit MEP in a building services environmentDesirable Skills (Training Available):\n\nNavisworks or Revizto for clash detection\nUnderstanding of COBie data requirements\nFamiliarity with ISO 19650 and BIM Level 2 standards\nBasic Dynamo scripting knowledgeBenefits:\n\nPrivate medical insurance (including immediate family)\nCompany pension scheme (5% employee / 3% employer via Aviva)\n25 days holiday per year\nReimbursed business travel expenses\nFlexible working hours (08:30 - 17:00, with 1-hour lunch)\nHybrid working (up to 2 days/week from home, subject to agreement)Interested?\n Please reach out to Callum at (url removed)
