Key Responsibilities
As an Operational Resilience Specialist, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things resilience across Bupa’s Global and UK Market Unit. Your role will include:
1. Leading the coordination and implementation of our operational resilience framework
2. Identifying and mapping Important Business Services and setting Impact Tolerances
3. Reviewing and assuring business continuity plans and impact analyses
4. Designing and delivering training and awareness sessions for key role holders
5. Supporting live incident and crisis management responses, including out-of-hours on a rota basis
6. Leading and reporting on crisis management exercises at bronze and silver levels
7. Advising business units on how to meet resilience standards and improve performance
8. Validating third-party resilience and supporting continuity planning for critical suppliers
9. Collaborating with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity teams across Bupa
10. Supporting emergency communication testing and live event responses
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who’s confident, collaborative, and committed to making a difference. You’ll need:
11. Proven experience in business continuity and operational resilience
12. Strong knowledge of ISO 22301 and best practices in resilience planning
13. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
14. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
15. The ability to lead and influence across teams and levels
16. A flexible approach – including being part of a 24/7 response rota
