As a Temporary Accounts Assistant, you will support vital accounting operations over a two-week period, helping ensure financial accuracy and compliance. Temporary Accounts Assistant Responsibilities This position will involve, but will not be limited to: Performing bank reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals to maintain precise financial records in Xero, supporting overall financial integrity. Assisting with VAT returns, management accounts, and grant reporting to support compliance and reporting accuracy. Processing supplier and subcontractor invoices, resolving queries promptly to ensure smooth transactional flow. Preparing and managing supplier payment runs, including issuing remittances to streamline cash flow. Raising purchase orders, managing ledgers, and overseeing the purchase inbox to uphold efficient procurement processes. Setting up and maintaining supplier accounts, liaising professionally to resolve account-related issues.
