The company supplies major UK retailers across grocery, discount, online and high street with a mix of brand and private-label products. It is renowned for high quality, excellent customer service and operating in an ethical manner as a business. It is a UK manufacturer offering a differential to competitors. The role offers an opportunity to join the team as UK Key Account Manager.
Responsibilities
* Managing a mix of UK customers across grocery, high street & discount retail
* Have full P&L, take a category led selling approach and utilise all necessary data
* Work closely with UK Head of Sales to develop key customers
* Manage all key brands across a mix of categories for the business
* Work with a high number of product SKUs
* Be involved in the launch of a new brand into a key grocery retailer
* Be the key point of contact for major UK retailers, must be a strong relationship builder
* Experience of managing top 4 grocery, high street or discount retailers would be beneficial
* Preferable if have operated in a non-food category such as beauty, personal care, home or toys; candidates from other FMCG areas or food & drink will also be considered
* Be diligent with numbers, utilising all data to help drive sales
* Comfortable operating in a manufacturing business and understanding of processes involved
* Be a good team player, have a great attitude and willingness to learn
