To provide support to all the staff covering the Trust’s existing patients in Administration (PAS) using the back-office system.
The post holder requires a good understanding of the needs and requirements of building templates for clinics based on the naming conventions used by the Trust.
The post holder needs knowledge of building clinics in PAS and linking resource names and locations with appointments.
The post holder will be able to add or remove letters, prepare request lists, and manage treatment functions of appointment types and ERS (e-Referral system) services.
To provide patient-focused rescheduling of patients from one template to another using the Trust’s booking system and the national e-Referrals system.
The post-holder will handle all related contacts from requests, such as service managers, operations managers, and clinicians.
The post-holder is expected to manage template requests following Trust policies and targets.
The post holder needs to work with and manage the Back Office application on Cerner, ensuring templates are built, linked, and applied correctly to ensure clinic schedules are visible and usable by service administrators.
The post holder must maintain banks of holidays, resource groups, and slot groups.
This role is based at Enfield Civic Centre as part of the centralised Elective Access Team at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, one of the UK’s largest NHS trusts serving over 1.6 million people annually across hospitals in Barnet, Chase Farm, and Royal Free.
We are seeking a part-time Template Coordinator to manage specialty template builds in accordance with Trust policies and targets. The role also involves supporting team members, promoting best practices, and assisting with training and awareness programs.
The successful candidate will demonstrate previous template management experience, embody the Trust values, and meet the requirements outlined in the job description and person specification. A templates test will be conducted to assess experience in this field.
Flexibility is essential, as the role may require working across any of our hospital sites.
