We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Lecturer in Health and Social Care with a specialism in Health Care to join our vibrant team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing curriculum area and make a real difference in learners’ lives.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Skills & Qualities:
* Excellent subject knowledge in health and social care.
* Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
* A team player with a flexible, enthusiastic, and committed approach.
* Excellent organisational, IT, and administrative skills.
* A supportive and empathetic attitude towards learners.
* A proven track record of successful teaching or youth engagement.
* Evidence of ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
* A relevant qualification at Level 4 or above.
* A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C or above.
* Assessor/Verifier awards (or willingness to work towards).
Experience:
* Relevant vocational/industrial experience in healthcare.
* Experience in a healthcare or clinical role.
* Strong industry networks and professional integrity.
* Recent teaching experience in further education or a professional setting.
Desirable:
* Degree in a healthcare-related discipline.
* Experience with higher education teaching, T-Level delivery, and curriculum planning.
* Knowledge of embedding English and Maths into curriculum delivery.
