About The Role
You’ll join DVSA as a Lead Portfolio Delivery Manager, acting as the head of Agile Delivery within a core value stream.
In This Role, You Will
* Lead a major delivery portfolio and shape how digital services are delivered
* Work alongside senior leaders across Digital, Operations and Policy
* Influence strategy and improve how teams deliver high-impact services
* Build and grow a high‑performing, inclusive agile delivery community
What You’ll Be Doing
* Providing strategic leadership for agile delivery across the agency
* Leading and developing a high-performing delivery community
* Working with senior leaders to ensure delivery aligns with strategic priorities
* Measuring success through business outcomes, performance and user value
* Managing risks, issues and dependencies across a large delivery portfolio
* Supporting teams to resolve complex challenges and unblock delivery
* Driving a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
* Ensuring delivery meets security, accessibility and compliance standards
What We’re Looking For
* Significant experience leading agile delivery functions
* Experience managing large, cross‑functional teams (both direct and virtual)
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to influence across Digital, Operations and Policy environments
* Experience managing portfolios, roadmaps, risks and dependencies at a strategic level
* A collaborative approach with the ability to work across multiple disciplines
