Transformation Business Analyst - FTC
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Business Analyst, with experience of supporting businesses with large transformation programmes, to deliver ongoing digital transformation for the UK's Property business divisions - Underground Services, Environmental Services, Subsidence Services, and Loss Adjusting.
In this role you will provide strategic business analysis services, working with stakeholders across UK Insurance and Group's central Product and Technology functions, to support the delivery of our transformation strategy for our property insurance claims division.
You will work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of both business and client strategies and processes. Using this knowledge, you will translate their requirements to specifications for internal software development teams and external 3rd party providers, ensuring the applications they deliver add business value.
This role will be key to understanding and documenting capabilities needed to address business challenges, and critical in the coordination and execution of elements of the change process for all strategic change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
* Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs
* Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level
* Develop process improvements and/or re-engineering
* Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations
* Stay current with customer needs and strategies
* Business case production
* Requirements gathering and documentation (clear & concise business and technical writing).
* Chair workshops (virtually and in-person) to gather and challenge requirements
* Chair and record meetings with stakeholders
* Support and engage senior leaders
* Support organisational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
* Coordinate efforts with other specialists
* identify suitable technology providers and solutions where necessary to provide additional functionality via integration to our main platform
* UI wireframing
* Write detailed specifications for application development teams
* Test software developments
* Produce support and training material for both in-house and third party applications
* Implementation management and support
* Evaluate and ensure user readiness
Our ideal candidate
You will have proven experience working as a Business Analyst in fast-paced, change environments, working with Agile methodologies.
* Experienced in supporting businesses with large transformation programmes
* Experienced within an analysis/change position in Insurance/ Claims/Financial Services sector
* Experienced in engaging with senior level business leaders/stakeholders
* Experienced in creating clear & concise business and technical writing
* Experienced in writing detailed specifications for application development teams
* Experienced in the full project lifecycle
* A self-starter, capable of working both autonomously and collaboratively
* Highly methodical, analytical and well-organised
* Driven to achieve business objectives, with the ability to embrace change and adjust approach
* Able to interact and influence with all levels in the organisation confidently
* Able to manage remote colleagues & service providers during change
* Resilient and flexible when faced with multiple competing priorities
