A welcoming Birmingham primary school is opening a brand-new nursery provision this September, and they’re on the lookout for a nurturing, proactive Level 2 Teaching Assistant to help get it off to a flying start.
If you’ve got a knack for calming busy mornings, coaxing smiles during story time, and making the Early Years sparkle—we want to hear from you.
In this role, you’ll:
1. Support the nursery teacher in creating a safe, warm and engaging learning space
2. Help with routines, personal care, and play-based learning
3. Build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues
4. Be part of a passionate team shaping the nursery from day one
What we’re looking for:
5. A Level 2 Early Years qualification (essential)
6. Experience in a nursery or Early Years setting
7. A gentle, encouraging approach and a good sense of fun
8. Confidence with EYFS frameworks and understanding of child development
