Our client, a leading manufacturing business based in Leyland, is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse & FLT Operator to join their operations team. This role is ideal for someone with warehouse and forklift experience who can work safely and efficiently within a fast-paced production environment, supporting the movement, storage, and dispatch of materials and finished products.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out daily checks on dock levellers and FLTs, completing records and reporting defectsFollow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies at all timesUnload deliveries safely by hand or using FLT equipment, reporting any damages or shortagesStore, handle, and repack products safely in the correct warehouse locationsEnsure stock rotation procedures are followedMove materials safely in line with manual handling proceduresPick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatchSupply materials to production lines in line with operational requirementsMaintain accurate stock and inventory recordsAssist with stock counts and inventory checks when requiredHandle hazardous materials safely and responsiblyMaintain high housekeeping standards across warehouse and work areasWork in line with all health, safety, and environmental proceduresSupport continuous improvement and efficiency initiativesSkills & ExperienceValid Bendi/FLT licenceStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood numeracy and basic IT skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication skillsFlexible and reliable approach to workUnderstanding of quality standards and customer expectationsShift PatternMonday to FridayAfternoon shift: 2:00pm 10:00pmFull-time positionAt Multitask Recruitment Solutions, we are committed to equal opportunities for all.
