Senior Estimator – Joinery & Bespoke Furniture | P&A Contracts
P&A Contracts is looking to appoint a Senior Estimator with a strong background in joinery and bespoke furniture. This is not a junior role, nor a training position.
We’re looking for someone who has already priced, secured, and delivered large‑scale joinery and bespoke fit‑out packages (over £1 m) and understands the commercial realities behind them.
Right person will have
* Proven experience in pricing high‑value joinery and bespoke furniture packages.
* Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing, labour, installation, and risk.
* Experience pricing from drawings, schedules, and specifications.
* Commercial awareness around margin protection, programme, and procurement.
* Confidence to lead estimating, challenge assumptions, and add value at the pre‑contract stage.
This role is for someone who
* Doesn’t need hand‑holding.
* Can bring structure and clarity to the estimating process.
* Is happy to teach, guide, and elevate the business, not be micromanaged.
